Saffron Attar is prepared through the hydro distillation of the stigma of Saffron leaves. It blends well with Sandalwood oil which gives it softness. The reddish color attar is bitter in taste and has warm, spicy and sweet, hay like fragrance. It is composed of a chemical, “Safranal” and hence excellent medicinal properties.
