Kewda Attar is extracted from the flower of “Pandanus odoratissimus” commonly called as screw-pine tree. This plant grows along the east coast of India. Obtained through the process of steam distillation, Kewra Attar contains 3-5% of Kewra oil, the remaining is Sandalwood oil. It possess sweet smell and hence widely used in the making of beauty products. Additionally, it is also used in aromatherapy treatment.
