Kadam Attar is extracted from the flowers of “Anthoephalus cadamba” commonly called as Kadam tree through Hydro distillation. This is an evergreen tropical tree found in Asia and its nearby areas. Attar prepared from red and orange colored flower is yellow in color having thick fragrance. It has amazing therapeutic and medicinal properties due to which used as analgesic or antiseptic. In addition, the exotic aroma makes it useful in aromatherapy.
