The absolute of white lotus floral oil is very oily with floral scent in viscous red brown colour. It is originated from Tamil Nadu. The extraction of this oil is by solvent extraction method from the wild white lotus flowers. The white lotus plant from where this absolute oil is extracted belongs to genus Nymphaea and family class of Nymphaeaceae. This oil is useful in aromatherapy and perfume industry.
