The Melissa plant, is a green plant, which bears white flowers known for strong citrus fragrance. The plant is grown all over in India and Asia and carries a strong lemon fragrance in it. The hydrosol is obtained by steam distillation and hydro distillation process, in which only small leaf part is used for the extraction. It carries a fruity like essence of rose.
